![]() I wouldn't mind black borders to get a pixel tripled 384 x 224 (3 x 384 = 1152 and 3 x 224 = 672) into a 720p screen without filtering and upscaling, if any 360 or PS3 ports are done. Capcom should've put in some sort of version toggle, like Sega did with Virtua Fighter 2 on Saturn- with the revision as default. Shame about certain juggles getting nerfed on DC. Removing Ibuki's infinite from NG is a good thing, but things like that means it's not a true arcade port.ĭC version of 3rd Strike is flawed too (but in different ways), I think the PS2 version is almost arcade-exact but it runs just a teeeeeensy bit faster than the CPS3. The real problem is that in terms of gameplay, there is no 100% arcade-perfect port for SF3 New Generation or Second Impact - they made actual changes to the game engine for the Dreamcast version, namely to tone down juggle combos. ![]() Street Fighter III on PS2/DC/Xbox may not be 100% perfect (I've been told the colors are reduced and sprites are a tad downsized), but these versions will do for now.
